Use your oven: If you don’t have a barbecue, bake the ham in the oven. Here’s how: position an oven rack on the bottom rung of oven and preheat oven to 190C. Set a roasting rack in a roasting pan. Place ham on rack in the roasting pan, cover, and bake for 1 1/2 hours or until an instant-read meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the ham registers 42C. Brush some of the glaze all over the ham. Continue to bake the ham in the oven, uncovered, basting it about every 5 mins with the glaze, for a further 45 mins or until the thickest part of ham registers 52C on the meat thermometer and the ham is caramelized.
