Choose the Right Caulk There are many different caulks options in the aisle. Read the label and make sure you get a silicone acrylic bath caulk. Depending upon the color you want there are clear, white and options that can be painted.
Apply It Place the tip of the caulk between your two painter’s tape lines. Try and force as much caulk into the gap as you can, filling up the area between painter’s tape. Once you’ve applied a full line of caulk, follow up with your fingers and press the caulk down into the grove. Then, remove the 2 pieces of tape. Finish it off one more time by running a different finger (a clean one) across the caulk grove. Now Wait Let the caulk cure for 24 hours before using the shower or bathtub where you have applied the caulk. Humidity levels in the home can slow or speed curing times.
