Replacing fixtures like faucets and handles can be a costly expense. Using good quality spray paint is a great way to go from brass to class in your home.
Watch as Annie, host of Leftovers with Annie shows you a quick and easy transformation you can make on a budget.
Prep the Faucet
Before you use the spray paint, make sure you shake the can for 1 minute. Then, slide off the red safety clip from the trigger. Over a drop cloth, hold can upright 8-12” from the surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can at the same distance from the surface and in motion while spraying. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart. For best results, apply several light coats versus one heavy coat.
Let It Dry
Let the piece dry for 24 hours before reattaching to your sink.
