Thanksgiving Leftover Grilled Cheese

Thanksgiving Leftover Grilled Cheese

Yep. This is the ultimate Thanksgiving leftover sandwich. Turkey and cranberries are grilled with provolone and pepper jack cheese to have a sweet and slightly spicy grilled cheese. Mmmmm.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 very large slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large slice of leftover turkey
  • 2 ounces pepper jack cheese
  • 2 ounces of provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce

PREPARATION

STEP 1

Butter one side of each slice of bread using 1 tablespoon of the butter. Place provolone on top, then pepper jack, then cranberry sauce. Place turkey and another slice of bread on top, butter side out (if you like the turkey to be hot, heat it a little before putting it on the sandwich).

Melt the remaining butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Place the sandwich on the skillet and let it cook slowly until golden brown on the bottom, about 3 minutes. Flip onto the other side and continue to cook until both sides are browned. Slice in half and enjoy!
